I pride myself on making brands look their best. From loved local brands to household names, I combine big brand thinking and simple processes to deliver strong creative that lasts.
In October 2020, I finished up at global giant Foot Locker where I was the lead designer for the brand’s Australian and New Zealand operations. Across two years, I was personally responsible for the conceptualisation and creation of all instore and e-commerce graphics for ANZ, creating almost 10,000 unique pieces of design across 100 stores.
Proud moments were countless, including collaborating with some of the world’s most revered brands such as Nike, adidas and Asics; travelling to Singapore to help establish an intercontinental design studio to centralise Foot Locker’s Asia-Pacific operations; and designing the interior of the brand’s first Australian Power Store at QV Melbourne including the commissioning of original artist murals.
My decision to leave Foot Locker was motivated by a greater yearning to give myself fully to my personal creative aspirations as an independent designer, to which I’ve found tremendous satisfaction.
I am readily available and open to different ways of working remotely, including ad hoc design tasks, campaign-based projects or an ongoing retainer.
“Jacob is an attentive, creative and detailed designer. He has overseen branding for three of our shows, which have enjoyed excellent ticket sales, plus has designed two websites for us. He finds innovative solutions to our creative briefs and is delightful to work with. I highly recommend Jacob’s services to anyone looking for fresh energy and creativity in their design aesthetic."
